Since 2015, Grant Thornton has been promoting a day dedicated to Corporate Social Responsibility globally, in which each member firm has the opportunity to make a concrete difference for their community. An important day to contribute to the social and human growth of the communities to which we belong and a tangible sign of the social commitment that distinguishes our organization.
Our commitment, however, does not stop at one single day, but continues throughout the year with various initiatives.
This year, the two days are dedicated to the Fondazione Don Carlo Gnocchi, an organisation committed every day to providing care and rehabilitation to people with disabilities, serious illnesses and conditions of vulnerability.
Our offices in Milan, Rome and Florence took part in a range of activities, adapting to different contexts and needs:
- In Milan, we took part in workshops focused on Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC), as well as creative activities with the residents of the care home;
- In Rome, we contributed to the care and enhancement of shared spaces through garden renovation activities;
- In Florence, we had the opportunity to experience a day centred on care, people and relationships, supporting residents throughout their rehabilitation programmes.
