A good news for innovative SMEs registered with the dedicated section of the Chamber of Commerce. The new Circular Letter issued by the Minister of Economics and Finance (ref. no. 275367 dated 4/12/2020) simplifies the current regulation and clarifies that the requirement concerning the Financial Statements certification for being registered and remaining in the abovementioned Chamber of Commerce dedicated section can be fulfilled by the Board of Statutory Auditors acting also as legal auditors.
The Financial Statements approval will need to be accompanied by a report issued by the Board of Statutory Auditors attesting that they have carried out both the functions provided under art. 2403 and following articles, and those under art. 2409-bis and that said report is drawn up in compliance with the provisions of art. 14 of Legislative Decree no. 39/2010.
