504 is the number of Italian companies being currently registered with the Chamber of Commerce as innovative SMEs. But, according to an estimate of the Ministry of Economic Development, they could be more and even amount to 20,000.
«According to a report of the European Commission, there are 20,000 innovative SMEs out of existing 137,000 SMEs.
