Lorenzo Carminati was appointed as new Partner of Bernoni Grant Thornton, Italian member firm of Grant Thornton International Ltd, global network providing Audit, Tax, and Advisory services.
Lorenzo joined Bernoni Grant Thornton in 2005 and works in the International Tax team, dealing with Transfer Pricing services, coordinating the Global Mobility area, and operating particularly for some industries he is specialized in, i.e.: Fashion, Retail, Industrial (mechanical, chemical, food), Airline.
He was born in Milan in 1978 and received his degree in Political Science cum laude, in 2002, and a Master’s degree in International Commercial Law and Finance, in 2003, from the Milan University, and was also awarded, with full marks, a Master’s degree in International Commercial Law (LL.M) from the University of Sussex, UK.
Lorenzo Carminati is a Certified Chartered Accountant in Milan and has acquired a significant experience in supporting Italian and foreign international groups. Having a sound expertise in international taxation, he specialized in the Transfer Pricing area, where he has been working with major groups with reference to TP policies, tax audits, APA and MAP procedures. He has also been involved in several Patent Box projects, which concluded with the signing of important agreements with the Italian Tax Authorities.
