Milan, 9 April 2026 – Grant Thornton Italy, member firm of Grant Thornton International Ltd, welcomes Claudio Quartana as Associate Partner & Head of Global Mobility Services for Italy. He will report directly to Alessandro Dragonetti, Partner & Head of Tax, and will be based in the Milan office.

In his new role, Claudio will be in charge of the development and coordination of global mobility services, supporting businesses and individuals in the management of tax, social security and compliance fulfilments related to international mobility, as well in defining efficient policies and structures for the employment of resources in cross-border contexts. He will also focus on remuneration schemes and incentive plans for management and key people, specifically within capital transactions and M&A, an area in which he has acquired vast experience over the years.

Claudio obtained his degree in Economics and Business law from Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Milan and accrued over twenty years’ experience at a leading tax law firm in Milan where he worked as a Partner with a specialisation in international tax and a focus on the global mobility of employees, executives and high-net-worth individuals.

He is also involved in the academic world, as he intervenes as a speaker in domestic and international conferences and is the author of articles on specialised magazines on personal taxation and management remuneration. He also lectures at the Guardia di Finanza’s School of Economic and Financial Police on issues relating to the tax residence of individuals.
