Gabriele has been a Partner at Bernoni Grant Thornton since January 2015 and operates from the Rome office. From 2018 to 2024, he served as a Board Member of Grant Thornton Financial Advisory Services S.r.l.
Qualified to practice as a professional in 1998, Gabriele has gained significant experience, primarily in the following areas:
- Judicial consulting – expert opinions, certifications, and technical consultancy, both for the court and private parties, in civil (including bankruptcy and voluntary jurisdiction), criminal, and extrajudicial proceedings concerning accounting, business management and auditing, insolvency procedures, corporate matters, banking techniques, financing, and business valuation;
- Court-appointed custodian and judicial administrator – management of assets and businesses in civil, criminal, and preventive proceedings (also as an Assistant to ANBSC – the Italian National Agency for the Administration and Allocation of Seized and Confiscated Assets);
- Corporate crisis and business recovery consulting – advisory services on business management (adequate organizational, administrative, and accounting structures), corporate crisis resolution, and business turnaround strategies;
- Financial and ESG sustainability advisory – support in financial planning, reporting, and sustainability strategies;
- Bankruptcy trustee, judicial liquidator, and corporate crisis manager – expert management of insolvency and liquidation procedures;
- Statutory auditor, external auditor, and member of supervisory boards for corporations and private entities.

Gabriele is also a lecturer at the School of Economic and Financial Police of the Guardia di Finanza (Rome), where he teaches "Business Management, Crisis, and Recovery" and "Financial Statement Analysis and Accounting Standards." He is a frequent speaker at conferences, an instructor for courses held at public and private institutions, and a contributor to newspapers and specialized journals. In 2023, he co-authored the book "Sustainability and ESG Value. Strategies for Businesses and Professionals" (Maggioli Editore), focusing on "Sustainability in the Bank-Business Relationship."

Degree in Economics and Commerce, awarded with highest honors from the University of Rome “La Sapienza” in 1995.

- Member of the Association of Chartered Accountants and Accounting Experts of Rome and the Register of Legal Auditors.
- Registered as a Technical Consultant and a Court-Appointed Expert at the Civil Court of Rome (IV Civil Section) and as an Expert Witness at the Criminal Court of Rome.
- Listed in the Register of Judicial Administrators and the Register of Business Crisis Managers maintained by the Italian Ministry of Justice, as well as in the List of Crisis Managers of the OCC (Crisis Settlement Body) of the ODCEC of Rome and the List of Experts for Negotiated Crisis Settlements at the Rome Chamber of Commerce.
