Grant Thornton sponsors Trento Festival of Economics 2018

For the second year in a row, Grant Thornton sponsors the Festival dell’Economia (Festival of Economics) in Trento (from 31 May to 3 June). Our commitment and investment in corporate culture and business innovation, career days, corporate social responsibility projects continue both at a local and national level.

“We are honoured that the Festival – with high-profile Italian and foreign speakers, among which ministers, Nobel Prize winner economists, scientists, world-renowned professors and institutional, business, university and journalism leaders, promoted by the autonomous province of Trento, the municipality of Trento and the University of Trento and devised by Editori Laterza – selected Grant Thornton and is people among its selected sponsors for the second year in a row” declared Alessandro Dragonetti, Co-Managing Partner of Bernoni Grant Thornton and Roberto H. Tentori, President of Grant Thornton Consultants.

The 13th edition of the festival will be focused on “Technology and jobs” and will see important speakers and Italian and international journalists, as well as the wider public both in Trento and worldwide via web, take part in an active discussion on the progress and future we can help build on key topics such as training, employment of young people, requalification of senior workers, the 4th industrial revolution, robots, AI, and business innovation.

In the Trentino Alto Adige region, Grant Thornton has long established a staff location in Trento and over the years managed to build a strong collaboration with institutions and local businesses. As concerns our growth strategies, we plan an ongoing strengthening of our presence in the regions of Northern Italy, increasing the number of professionals by selecting young talents with significant experience.
