Since 2015, Grant Thornton has been promoting a day dedicated to Corporate Social Responsibility globally, in which each member firm has the opportunity to make a concrete difference for their community. An important day to contribute to the social and human growth of the communities to which we belong and a tangible sign of the social commitment that distinguishes our organization.

Our commitment, however, does not stop at one single day, but continues throughout the year with various initiatives.

This year, colleagues in Milan are taking part in maintenance work, gardening, and the upkeep of the spaces at Cascina Verde, a recovery, rehabilitation, and social reintegration community for people struggling with addiction. The goal is to cooperate with the community members in the daily activities they carry out at the center.

In Padua, the contribution goes to an innovative project involving the creation of Lego ramps at Talents Lab, aimed at promoting inclusion and highlighting the talents of young people on the autism spectrum.

Finally, colleagues in Rome are participating in a series of workshops ranging from woodworking to gardening, alongside women and minors involved with Arpjtetto, a volunteer organization that works to ensure that women, minors, and young people in difficult circumstances have the opportunity to take charge of their future responsibly.
