Claudio joined Bernoni Grant Thornton in April 2026 and currently works as an Associate Partner within the italian Global Mobility Services team.
Education
Graduated in Economics and Business Law from the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Milan, he later completed a Master’s degree in Tax and Wealth Planning organized from Il Sole 24 Ore.
Experience
Before joining Bernoni Grant Thornton worked for 20 years at a major tax and law firm in Milan specializing in international tax, with focus on global mobility of employees, executives and HNWIs.
Tax advisory to private equity funds, financial services companies, multi-national entities and senior/top executives on compensation packages, equity-based incentive plans, including co-investments and carried interest structures.
The areas in which he has primarily practised and specialised are as follows:

- Employment tax and social security
- Compensation and reward
- Employment tax in M&A transactions
Presentations and publications
Claudio is also a lecturer at the Scuola di Polizia Economico-Finanziaria della Guardia di Finanza on the topic of individual tax residency. He is a speaker at numerous conferences on global mobility and international tax, and the author of publications and specialized interviews at both national and international level.
