Since 2010, Bernoni Grant Thornton has been promoting the Good Energy Award in Italy, in order to award those businesses that invest in the energy market and implement environmentally-friendly initiatives.
The Good Energy Award is aimed at:
• businesses which, in recent years, have implemented projects, policies and investment aimed at increasing environmental sustainability and at significantly reducing the use of energy;
• businesses which stand out for an improvement in their products’ performances (mainly in terms of energy efficiency and lower environmental impact) and an improvement in the environmental impact (energy, emissions, waste) of processes;
• businesses which stand out for a continuous effort to increase environmental sustainability of the whole business chain;
• businesses which stand out for the research and development of innovative solutions aimed at saving energy and increasing environmental sustainability.
Businesses can participate in one of the following categories:
Among the criteria that will be evaluated by the Jury panel are: the companies’ focus on technological innovation, on the environment and on the local territory, as well as on young people and women in managerial positions and investments in research & development.
