The Not-for-profit industry has been recently regulated in Italy by Law 106/16, which defines it as the sector including all those private entities incorporated for the pursuit of non-profit-making civic, solidarity and social purposes, and which promote and realize activities of general interest through voluntary and free actions, mutual aid or exchange of goods and services.

On Monday, 29 May a roundtable – organized by Argis, the Italian research association for the governance of social enterprises – will be held in Milan, where the new regulation on the Not-for-profit sector will be discussed.
