On Thursday, 16 March 2017, starting from 14.30, the conference “Brexit: una sfida, un’opportunità” – Brexit, a challenge, an opportunity – organised by Bernoni Grant Thornton in collaboration with Unindustria - Confindustria (the main association representing manufacturing and service companies in Italy) – will be held at Unindustria premises in Rome, Via Andrea Noale 206.
Many topics will be discussed during the event concerning, in particular, tax issues (both for direct taxes and for VAT purposes) related to the ticklish exit process of the United Kingdom from the European Union.
Alessandro Dragonetti, Managing Partner and Head of Tax at Bernoni Grant Thornton will act as moderator of the conference.
Paolo Besio will speak about implications of Brexit on direct taxes, as regards both European and international taxation, and Simonetta La Grutta will analyse problems related to VAT and indirect taxes (particularly, referring to Customs issues).
