“Diversifying to grow” was certainly a truth in the past. And likely, it is still a truth today, also for legal services. In fact, in order to retain old clients and achieve new ones, many legal firms are starting promoting innovative ideas to diversify their offer and extend it beyond legal services. In fact, a lot of legal firms are already looking for new ideas to improve their work, but also to improve institutions as well as rules.
A few months ago, for example, the Shareholders’ Meeting of Eversheds Sutherland Italia, in the light of the new challenges arising in the legal services market and of the increasing complexity in the internal organizational management procedures, decided to establish a steering committee in charge of monitoring and seizing new market opportunities.
The committee coordinates with the head of the various operating areas in order to set the needed activities.
