For the third year in a row, Bernoni Grant Thornton is a sponsors of "I Fuoriclasse della scuola", a project aimed at supporting Italian high school students, thanks to philanthropic donations by foundations, associations, companies and individual citizens.
This year, the awarding ceremony will take place in Milan on 22 November 2018, at Museo Nazionale della Scienza e della Tecnologia.
Devised within a joint project of the Fondazione per l’Educazione Finanziaria e al Risparmio (foundation for financial education and promotion of saving) and the Ministry of Education, the event is realized in collaboration with Museo del Risparmio in Turin, where the winners will have the opportunity to take part into a two-days’ Campus, and with the support of Associazione Bancaria Italiana and Confindustria.
The project is addressed to high-school students, winners of some of the competitions listed in the Annual programme for the growth of excellent students by the Italian Ministry of education, including competitions for: astronomy, chemistry, philosophy, physics, information technology, Italian, classics, mathematics, life sciences, statistics, economy, and design.
The aim of the project, which received a Medal of the Presidency of the Italian Republic, is to grow a generation of excellent and confident young students, able to develop, besides high-level economic and technical skills, also sensitivity towards issues such as legality, in order to share the experiences developed with the community. All this thanks to a new form of virtuous collaboration between public institutions and private entities to sustain deserving young people and the Italian school.
