New entity: Grant Thornton Financial Advisory Services

Grant Thornton is growing and investing in Italy in the advisory services with two new entities, Grant Thornton Consultants and Grant Thornton Financial Advisory Services.

The fast development of the advisory service line and, at the same time, the recent market specialization and the growing clients' needs motivated the decision to demerge Grant Thornton Advisory into two separate entities providing specific services. Grant Thornton Consultants s.r.l., with Francesco Pastore as CEO, and Grant Thornton Financial Advisory Services s.r.l., with Stefano Salvadeo as CEO.

Grant Thornton Advisory was a joint venture incorporated in 2014 by the two Grant Thornton Italian member firms, Bernoni Grant Thornton, providing tax and outsourcing services, and Ria Grant Thornton, providing audit services.

"Grant Thornton Consultants"- declares Francesco Pastore - "represents an innovative professional reality and consultancy model. After the successful experience of Grant Thornton Advisory, we decided to bring to life a new entity, which, involving an excellent team of professionals with an extensive experience acquired in the major international consultancy firms, responds to the market needs with reference to integrated risk management, compliance, and corporate governance services."

"Grant Thornton Financial Advisory Services" - states Stefano Salvadeo - "will represent, in continuity with the past, a dynamic and eclectic player in the advisory services, relying on professionals with several years' experience in M&A, forensic, transactional support and in maximising post-acquisition value."

Thanks to the creation of the new entities, with main offices in Rome and Milan respectively, the Grant Thornton member firms are planning to recruit more than 100 people among senior professionals and young talents, in line with the consolidation and growth strategy in Italy, where Grant Thornton is already present in the main cities and regions, with total 400 people.
